Colby Recreation Department
The mission of the Colby Recreation Department is to provide a wide range of programs targeting all members of the community in activities and wellness.
CRD Update on COVID-19: In accordance with guidelines brought forth by the CDC and KDHE, and with regards to the Executive order from Governor Kelly, the Colby Recreation Department is suspending all activities until April 15th, at which time the Colby Recreation and its board will re-evaluate the situation and proceed how to move forward. This will include the closure of the Recreation Office to visitors, but I will be available by phone, email, or Facebook message.
Events that are cancelled are Co-Ed Volleyball, 3 on 3, E-Sports tournaments, Water Aerobics, and Father Daughter Dance. Women’s Basketball League will start no sooner than April 21st, with a shorter season being discussed. Registrations for Baseball/Softball/Coach Pitch/T-Ball will still remain available. Baseball/Softball Registration Begins:
The Colby Recreation Department is happy to announce it has opened up registration for its 2020 Youth Baseball and Softball. We offer T-ball for our 4 and 5-year old, Coach Pitch for our 6-7-year old (which uses pitching machines), Rookie League for our 2-3rd graders (Which uses our pitching machine) and Bambino League for our 4-6th graders (Kid Pitch).
